Indications and contraindications

Germitox tablets are a powerful tool for those who want to completely get rid of parasites in one treatment. The unique formula, which has no obvious contraindications and side effects, makes this product one of the most popular.

  1. For enterobiasis, adults and children need to take one tablet at a time. To prevent the occurrence of intrusion, the use of secondary agents is prescribed every half month for a month.
  2. For ascariasis, ankylostomiasis, trichocephalosis and mixed helminthiasis: adults and children older than 2 years are prescribed 2 tablets, no more than twice a day for 3 days.
  3. With teniasis and strongyloidiasis, you should take no more than 200 mg of the drug twice a day for 4 days. Children should take 100 mg twice a day for 3-4 days.

Side effects

When using Germitox capsules in large doses for a long time, the following may appear:

  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • migraine,
  • allergic reactions in the form of skin rash, urticaria, edema.

There is also an increase in hepatic transaminase activity, leukopenia, anemia, hair loss. The use of pills can have a negative effect on fetal development in pregnant women. Therefore, at the time of childbirth, especially in the first trimester, Germitox tablets should be taken with caution.
